Hi, I’m Ed Williams . . .
Southern Outlaw Author/Writer/Speaker. I came straight from the loins of Ed Sr. and Ed Jr., my very esteemed grandfather and dad, respectively. I run with the most elite social organization in the world, my two best friends Ray Pippin and Hugh Foskey, collectively known to the world as The Brotherhood. I work hard, play even harder, and I’m enjoying the hell out of living these days that I‘ve been blessed with.
I also happen to have written a couple of books that made a little noise, the first was called Sex, Dead Dogs, and Me: The Juliette Journals, and I still get emails/fan mails from just the title alone. The second one was called Rough As A Cob: More From the Juliette Journals. It earned me trips to book conferences, speaking gigs, and fun on a scale that I never could’ve imagined. A story of mine, Sally the Screamer, recently ended up in the southern humor anthology Southern Fried Farce, so I’m three times better published than I ever thought I would be. My first novel, a Christmas story titled ChristmaSin': A Juliette Christmas Epistle, was published this past November. And now I've just learned that Sex, Dead Dogs, and Me is going to be re-published either late this year or early next. Who'd have thought?
I love having fun, and I make no apologies for anything I’ve ever done. I’ve had successes, I’ve failed more than once, but I always get back up and keep goin’. Life to me is always about that next Atomic Fireball, that next BTO cut on the radio, or that next visit to Las Vegas, a city that has the Brotherhood‘s name written all over it. Some love me, some hate me, but they damn sure all seem to keep hangin’ around. Amazin‘, ain’t it?
I hope y’all like our little spot here on the web. The People’s Webmaster and I will be puttin’ up blogs at times, even a vlog here or there, you can order my books, and there’s contact info as well. We may even throw in a surprise or two along the way just to keep y’all interested. Am I back? Y’all can bet a red rosy rat’s ass I am!
